On completion of the learning package, participants will be able to: 

• Describe the macroscopic structures of the kidney
• Describe the structures of the urinary system and the male reproductive system
• Identify the ranges of common blood results
• Define common and nephrology terms
• Describe nursing care and strategies for a patient with renal colic and a patient with bladder outlet obstruction, including pain management

Target audience: Novice nurses caring for Urology patients.
