Course Description: This educator training course aims to assist new educators in adjusting to the unique role of a Childbirth Educator. It consists of 24 modules covering:

• Pregnancy
• Birth
• Postnatal Period and Parenting
• Breastfeeding
• Birth and Parenting Education
• Adult Learning
• Facilitation Skills
• Acupressure
• Program design
• Program implementation
• Program Evaluation
• As part of this course, we require the course participants to complete specific HETI modules where they are available. 
• This course will take a minimum of 12 months to complete.  

Target audience: Midwives and Physiotherapists interested in facilitating Childbirth Education courses at Westmead Hospital
