Dear WSLHD Moodle Users
Thank you all for your continuing support. This email advises you on the recent announcement that may assist you in navigating the WSLHD Moodle Collaborative Site for Education and Training. Update such as:
- Planned upgrade from 3.10 to Moodle 3.11.4 has been completed.
- The new features and overview can be viewed Moodle 3.11 Overview (YouTube) or via Educators Tutorials with new videos related to the latest version. Videos from previous versions are still applicable.
- Student’s Tutorials has the latest video of the new version.
- Network Categories have been cleaned up and updated to ensure consistency with My Health Learning.
- The landing page slideshow images have been updated to ensure consistency with ‘Our Place, Our People’ as the slogan for the WSLHD Culture Program.
- The login page has been updated with the landing page slideshow images as the customer-facing view.
Attention to Course Site Facilitators/Owner:
If you are responsible for maintaining a course site within this system as a ‘Facilitator’ access role, please ensure to check the following:
- Check your course site(s) to see if anything obvious error resulted from the upgrade. For example, skewed/glitches on a content page(s).
- Check if all the facilitators and SME role access are current and active employees. If not, please remove/cease their access to your course site.
- An audit and surveys will continue after the new year as part of the cleanup and based on responses received to action.
- FYI, new plugins have been added to the system – ready for use. Click on the name to view how to use it.
